We're visiting the cities of Lisbon, Sintra, and Porto this week. Having never met a person who had an ill thing to say about Portugal, Waqas and I decided to spend our mini-summer vacay here this year to see what all the fuss is about. Upon first glance, the country feels like we've stepped into a time machine, and gone back into an era of colorful tiled buildings - each one more beautiful and unique than the next. The food and culinary scene are great; thank god for 45 degree inclines on practically every street throughout the city. I also discovered a whole realm of humans with no worldly stresses at all. I could move here tomorrow.
